It is still unknown who was in fact responsible for the
attack on Mr. Stevens the U.S ambassador in Libya. But, serves as a reminder
that the change that is trying to be reinforced is not done without risk. The
previous reports on the Arab spring had never mentioned how violent and radical
the extremists had become. Furthermore, since the fall of Gaddafi the militias
have been able to run free, turning into bunches of thugs doing harm without
reasoning. The death of Chris Stevens could mean an act of retaliation could
come from the U.S. Or due to the dangerous that are now apparent they could
begin to withdraw their enforcements within the Arab spring. As far as in the
Arab spring, it seems that the birth of more extremists and hatred is becoming
to be a theme, and hasn’t been shown if the Libyan authorities can stop them. Which
leads to doubt in the U.S mind that the Libyan authorities will be able to
stop/ do anything if another attack is brought upon United States forces.

You're right it does seem that the birth of more extremists is becoming a trend. I think the Americans need to step up and do a little more to stand up for themselves.
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree with your post. There seems to be an increasing amount of extremists, creating a large problem. I also agree with Kenzie's comment. I think it is important for the Americans to take a stand. I think that they need to come up with a course of action to get this situation under control as soon as possible as it is continually getting worse.
ReplyDeleteThis event was very traumatic for many Americans since it was post 9/11 anniversary. The Islamic extremists are taking this conflict to a new level and it is sad that innocent people have to loose their lives due to this fight.
ReplyDeleteI agree with everything you've said here! I feel that the death of Chris Stevens will have a significant negative impact on the Arab Spring Movement since the United States will be less inclined to lend their support in future conflicts throughout Libya or elsewhere due to the unfortunate fate of their Ambassador.
ReplyDeleteWell said, I feel we need to understand the implications of this action better.
